Caroline Conner

Founder & CEO

Hailing from San Francisco, Caroline's passion for wine ignited during her pursuit of an undergraduate degree in archaeology and anthropology at the University of Oxford. It was there that she engaged in competitive blind wine tasting, setting the stage for her future endeavors.

Her journey continued in London, where she honed her culinary skills at Le Cordon Bleu. Caroline's love for wine further deepened as she spent several years selling wine to bars and restaurants, combining her expertise in culinary arts with her passion for wine. In 2012, she achieved a significant milestone by earning her Wine & Spirits Education Trust Level 4 Diploma.

Margaret-Rose

Sommelier

Margaret-Rose, a certified sommelier with an MSc in Geography from King’s College London, combines her passion for wine with her expertise in geography to explore and teach the cultural stories behind each bottle.

With 10 years of experience, she views wine tasting as a journey through the history and geography that shape a wine’s identity.

Originally from Wisconsin, her friendly Midwest demeanor enriches her interactions, whether she's conversing with cheesemongers in Lyon or exploring the Alps through camping, cycling, and hiking.

Her love for France’s wine culture is at the heart of her educational endeavors.

Daniela Clare

Caroline's Assistant

Daniela has been living her French dream since she left the rainy lands of Scotland over five years ago. She bid farewell to her corporate roles to embark on a journey of creativity, diving into the worlds of social media and teaching yoga, truly embodying her ideal lifestyle.

When Daniela isn't assisting Caroline, she finds joy in cycling through the picturesque city of Lyon, exploring new bars and restaurants, and strumming her ukulele.

McKenna Schroter

PR/Brand Management

Founder and CEO of Gleam Connections, leads an agency committed to empowering wine brands.

Gleam Connections specializes in providing executive administrative support to businesses in the wine industry, aiming to enhance their growth and visibility.

The agency’s core mission is to assist these wine businesses in thriving within the dynamic markets of Gen-Z and Millennial consumers, fostering a dedicated following of wine enthusiasts.
